Kuala Lumpur, 23 May 2023 — Cocoro Life, a global provider of workplace culture solutions, has launched Malaysia’s first employee care ecosystem at the Sharp-Cocoro Life Employee Appreciation Day on 10 – 11 May 2023. The celebration is the inaugural event under this initiative, which aims to empower organisations at large in driving greater employee wellbeing and work-life balance through a unique blend of online and on-ground benefits.
The two-day event gathered more than 500 employees, business partners, and industry professionals for an exclusive first look at the ecosystem’s myriad of lifestyle benefits.
Under this programme, companies will be able to offer their employees complimentary access to perks such as basic health checks, wellness seminars, special discounts on consumer electronics, foods and lifestyle products, as well as recreational workshops for hobbies like cooking, yoga, diffuser making, and home recycling.
“With Malaysians on average spending more than 80 per cent of our time at work or getting to our offices, Cocoro Life believes that the key to strategic talent retention is holistic employee lives and injecting joy into the workplace. Our Employee Care Ecosystem is designed to balance the hours with purpose — turning work into a digital market that supports Malaysians in pursuing their personal interests so that they feel uplifted, valued, and motivated to give back to their workplaces,” shared Ting Yang Chung, Managing Director of Sharp Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. and Cocoro Life (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
Beyond strengthening employer-employee engagement in organisations, the Cocoro Life Employee Care Ecosystem also connects local entrepreneurs and businesses to larger corporate customer bases. Carefully curated based on their approach to wellness, these partner brands span a variety of industries including food and beverage, beauty, health and wellness, and home living — including household names like, Beacon Mart, Chill Chill Bar, Gudang81 Enterprise, Hinode Bento, Idolci Gelato, Johnson Fitness & Wellness, KO Restaurant, Miyaki, Nature Farm, Nona, Quarz, Sacha Inchi Superfood Sdn. Bhd., Sanren Journey, The Asli Co., Verdulife Sdn Bhd, vivo, Lips Carpenter, Origin Bulk Store and Grandma Stella Cookies.
“At the heart of our initiative is a deep commitment to empowering employees with access to the best wellness programs and incentives that align with their unique priorities. Cocoro Life takes this one step further by offering hearty savings on packages from all of our partners. We believe that this approach can benefit not just our own employees, but also those of other companies and Malaysians at large. By introducing this concept to other organisations, we hope to help more people prioritise their well-being and achieve greater balance in their lives,” shared Levity Suto, Chief Operating Officer of Cocoro Life (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
Cocoro Life is actively expanding its care ecosystem to Malaysian businesses of all sizes and industries, with a focus on the finance, automotive, education, manufacturing, real estate, telecommunication and government-linked companies. The brand looks to expand its catalogue of partners to 30 brands and is eyeing adoption by 20 organisations by year-end.
