This campaign is more than a catchphrase; it encapsulates the deep emotions of appreciation, love, and pride for our beloved nation,” shares Shylendra Nathan, Chief Executive Officer of SOCAR. Through car rentals, we’re looking to catalyse domestic tourism by providing a simple, fuss-free way for Malaysians to explore the diversity of our local landscape and journey to hidden gems within the country. Travelling locally is a great opportunity to have fun while also supporting homegrown businesses and give back to the economy.”

Beyond drives to experience the enchanting allure of our homeland, SOCAR is also organising a quirky social media giveaway for the public to share their uniquely Malaysian stories.

Additionally, be on the lookout for the upcoming contest on SOCAR official Facebook and Instagram accounts. Participants can join the Tell Us You’re Malaysian Without Telling Us You’re Malaysian contest by creatively expressing their Malaysian pride in a comment on the contest post on either Facebook or Instagram. The top six most-liked comments across both platforms will each receive a complimentary SOCAR Monthly Pass, which entitles them to a whopping 50% off on 99 drives!

This Merdeka season, SOCAR urge Malaysians to rekindle their love for the nation by exploring its wonders and creating cherished memories on the roads less travelled. Celebrate 66 years of Merdeka by embarking on new local adventures, and forging a deeper connection with the beautiful land where our lives began, to better appreciate the treasures that lie within the land we all call home.
